CityLink.connect({traffic:'/city/traffic'}) drives the walkers from
the live endpoints; a rising birth count sends a lantern from First Morning
House up to the Great Tree. Textures hand-painted on the iMac, engine
vendored locally — the postcard edition carries no wires at all.
